We began working with the team at Huddersfield Horizon SCITT as they were establishing the newly formed training provider. They approached us before a name was in place and before any branding or identity had even been developed.
We set straight to work, jumping in our Big Pink Think Tank to create something that would stand out in a competitive market-place.
The Huddersfield Horizon logo was created using a series of geometric shapes, utilising various shades of blue and yellow, representative of the different people, with different backgrounds, who train to become teachers.
Created with impact in mind, the logo was then built up using different triangular parts that would in essence, fit together like a folding children’s puzzle.
The brand identity therefore portrays the trainees having to navigate through training with the support from Huddersfield Horizon and then ‘solve’ the puzzle of becoming a teacher.
Supporting materials were also produced for Huddersfield Horizon in the form of printed literature, digital advertisements and social media content. The bright, bold and high impact branding continues across all content, which takes a fun and humorous approach.
